Loxion Express partnered with My Life, a company that conducts Financial Literacy around the country, to host the Soweto Financial Literacy Competition. The competition was a kickstart for the Loxion Express Holiday Programme.
The Soweto Financial Literacy Competition is a challenge amongst learners, where they compete on the money time website to complete the course of Financial Literacy. The competition was open to learners aged between 10-14 years for Orlando schools. The learner who achieved the number 1 position received a R 5000 cash prize.
Our gratitude goes to Mr. Johan Olivier, director at My Life for sponsoring the prizes. The competition closed on the 9th December 2022, however Children who wish to participate on the moneytime platform can do so by logging on the website. They can also come to the Loxion Express Holiday programme at the Soweto YMCA.
The learner who won the prize, Lesedi Modiadia from Ditawana Primary School, received a R5000 cash prize for his outstanding performance in the money time programme.
