As the sun dipped below the horizon on the 18th of November 2023, the vibrant city of Soweto came alive with the dazzling lights and infectious energy of the second annual Mrs eSoweto Pageant 2023/24. As a journalist fortunate enough to cover the event, I found myself immersed in an evening that seamlessly blended beauty, confidence, and a celebration of womanhood. The Pageant took place at the YWCA in Dube, Soweto.

Organized by the visionary Fikile Motaung, the Mrs eSoweto Pageant 2023/24 had a clear mission – to inspire women and foster self-confidence among its contestants.
