As Loxion Express we decided to bring the campaign to Soweto schools, local learners got a chance to experience the Money Smart Week. This is an annual event that is celebrated all over the world.
The third annual MSWSA took place between 29 August – 4 September 2022.
100 participants dedicated their time and resources to bring top quality financial information to all South Africans.

Our campaign was focused on two schools, Ditawana Primary Schools 31 August and Zifuneleni Junior Secondary School, 2 September 2022. To ensure that the workshops were successful we partnered with two organisations who are experts in the field, The University of Johannesburg (Accounting Department) and Financial institution Allan Gray.
The National Consumer Financial Education Committee (NCFEC) is an entity comprising a variety of stakeholders in the financial education sector. The NCFEC was established to secure active involvement, collaboration and coordination of various stakeholders in consumer financial education. In part fulfilment of its mandate, the NCFEC established Money Smart Week South Africa (MSWSA), a financial literacy campaign aimed at motivating and empowering South Africans to become more educated about their finances.
